Such good news was reported during the solemn meeting of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences in honor of the centenary of the NAAS by the Uzbek ambassador to Ukraine - Alisher Abdualiev.

“Our countries have achieved considerable success in the field of practical application of scientific achievements in crop production, animal husbandry and in the fishing industry,” the ambassador emphasizes. - We are pleased with the overall results in the field of gardening and growing vegetables. And we don’t want to stop there! ”

According to Abdualiev, 2018 has been declared the Year of Active Entrepreneurship and Innovation in his country. And Ukrainian farmers are helping Uzbeks in the active introduction of the latest technologies in agricultural production.

“You don’t have to go far - this year, thanks to the development of Ukrainian scientists, we were able to get a generous corn crop - 83 tons per hectare. As for livestock, our pigs and cows gain two kilograms of weight daily, despite the fact that earlier this figure was much lower - only 800 grams per day. This is a record for our country! And for this we also thank the Ukrainian colleagues who once shared the secrets of keeping animals with us. ”

It should be added that it is Ukraine that buys 60 percent of the sugar that it exports to other countries of Uzbekistan. Fully satisfy the Uzbek suppliers and inquiries of Ukrainians in everything. As for mineral fertilizers.
