The Agrofusion Group of Companies has launched the tomato harvesting and processing season. This was reported on the official website of the company.

Traditionally, the harvest season of tomatoes opened the South plant in the Kherson region. During the week, it is planned to launch the Northern and Eastern factories in the Nikolaev region and gradually reach full capacity.

“Unfavorable weather conditions have delayed the start of the season for one week. Now the weather is normal and contributes to the ripening and quality of the fetus. Tomatoes have a good structure and color, ”the company notes.

The season will last until the beginning of October. The projected processing volume is 740 thousand tons of tomatoes. The total area for tomatoes is 7.2 thousand hectares., Agrofusion employees said. The expected average yield is more than 100 tons / ha.

Agrofusion is a vertically integrated Ukrainian group of companies that produces and processes tomatoes for tomato paste. It processes 25 thousand hectares. land, of which 2.1 thousand introduced organic farming. The company has 10 branches in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, 3 tomato plants.
