Recently, a built dairy farm was opened in the village of Dernivka, Zholkovsky district, Lviv region, as the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration informed.
The farm is a common affair between the spouses Andrei and Maria Dyakov. Now farmers have at their disposal seven dairy cows and modern equipment, which the couple adopted from the Canadian project "Development of the dairy business in Ukraine."
The Government of Canada provided financial support. The Lviv Agrarian Advisory Service supported information. With such versatile help, novice farmers managed to complete the construction of a family dairy farm.
In the immediate plans of the married couple of farmers - expanding the farm to 16 cows.
Earlier it was reported that in the village of Dolzhki, Slavutsky District, Khmelnitsky Region, the first family-owned dairy farm “Dairy Rivers” began to operate.
The farm still contains over 20 cows and calves, but in the near future husband-and-wife breeders plan to increase the number of livestock raised to 30 animals.
In addition, the spouses of Kotiki have 20 hectares. agricultural land. The farm is equipped with modern facilities.
