Andrey Teryokhin, head of export department.
Cherkizovo Group is one of nine Russian companies awarded the honor of having a presentation stand. “Saudi Arabia is of strategic importance to us as a large poultry market that relies on imports to satisfy more than 50% of its demand.
For religious and cultural reasons, Saudi Arabia with a population of more than 32 million people clearly prefers poultry, because the high level of personal income throughout the country necessitates the highest quality and deep processing of products, ”said Andrei Teryokhin, head of the Group’s export department, who were present at forum.
The group is ready to supply its halal bird to Saudi Arabia: participants in the catering industry and meat processors. Negotiations on the first export are already underway with several Saudi companies. “The forum has confirmed that the Saudi poultry market can offer great prospects for the Cherkizovo Group.
Local companies showed great interest in various areas of trade and investment cooperation with us, as the largest meat producer in Russia, ”Teryokhin added.
