Field workers of the Republic of Tuva will begin the process of haymaking for the second time this summer. The weather gave them such an opportunity, giving them favorable conditions for the ripening of herbs.
Information on the second round of haymaking in Tuvan open spaces was shared by representatives of the press service of the regional administration of the republic.
Based on the data shared by the governor of Tuva, Sholban Kara-ool, on his official page on social networks, to date, the republican hayfields have jointly collected over eight thousand five hundred sixty seven tons. And here he is - the second chance, which will make it possible to harvest even more hay for livestock.
Kara-ool also said that it had ordered that everything necessary be provided for farmers who will take part in the second wave of haymaking.
It will not be superfluous to note that the average indicator of hay productivity in the republic has grown significantly since last year.
And if according to the results of haying in 2018, the figures were equal to eleven centners from each cultivated hectare, then this year the current indicator is equal to thirteen centners per hectare.
