In the village of Sedinkino, which is located in the Tyumen region, there was a real agricultural tragedy.
It is known that it was here that hundreds of pigs became victims of negligence of employees of one of the livestock farms.
According to Vadim Schulz, who heads the Main Directorate for Veterinary Medicine of the Tyumen Region, a fatal accident for a thousand pigs occurred within the walls of the Michurinsky pig-breeding complex.
A local electrical short circuit has occurred. The reason for this was the strongest wind that cut off wires on power lines.
The wires fell on the damp ground and lay on it for a long time until the repairmen arrived at the scene to eliminate the emergency. The current passed through moist soil to the pig farm and closed the pigs.
The autopsy of dead pork carcasses showed that the animals did not die at all as a result of the influence of an infectious disease, as was originally suggested in the administration of the pig farm. Studies have shown that about one thousand pigs died due to the effects of electric current.
Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
