Soon, a unique farming project will be implemented on the territory of Moscow: an apartment building with installed greenhouse complexes of a vertical type of growing vegetables will appear in the Russian capital.

The innovative idea will be implemented on the basis of the Leader-Invest company developments. First of all, they plan to equip the high-rise building with a vertical farm in the Krylya microdistrict, which is located in the southwestern part of the capital, in the heart of the Ramenki district.

According to investors who are ready to invest considerable amounts in this project, greenhouses will allow residents of an apartment building to grow vegetables in a stable climate control with technically accurate lighting. Developers intend to place vertical type greenhouses in the basement of houses or on technical floors.

The Japanese representatives of Panasonic, who at one time developed the basis for such a greenhouse complex based on multi-storey residential buildings, will oversee the implementation of the project. The project will be implemented as part of the energy efficient development of Moscow and the regions.
