Not many people know that in the Zhytomyr region there is an unusual farm with the laconic name "Cottage". And they also grow and breed earthworms - indispensable assistants in the production of fertilizers for the soil.

The uniqueness of this farm also lies in the fact that hens are raised here, who live a happy and long life unlike other poultry.

“We don’t cut our chickens,” says farm worker Alexander Shcherbina. - Their main purpose is to provide us with environmentally friendly eggs. And we don’t intend to kill them for meat! ”

Lucky "country" hens (of which 700, by the way, on the farm) rush on average once every two days. Shcherbina is sure that his winged wards feel like Birds with a capital letter, every night settling down in cozy “rooms” with curtains.

“On other farms, chickens are kept in cages or in chickens,” says Alexander. “We have one square meter box for each bird, and our birds feed on elite compound feed, which did not even lie with chemicals and fertilizers.”
