In France, a severe drought continues. High air temperatures and the scorching sun lead to the fact that water reserves are intensively reduced in the country.
French rivers are smaller, and the groundwater level is significantly reduced. In connection with the situation, more than sixty administrative districts of France introduced a regime of limited use of water.
Particularly tightly control the limited use of water resources in the center of France and in the territory of its southern regions, where supplies of life-giving moisture occupy the most critical mark in the country.
Meteorologists, having familiarized themselves with the forecasts, predict that the drought will "stay" in the French open spaces for at least another week.
If we talk about agricultural land in France, then we can note the dire situation in the fields with grain. First of all, sunflower and corn are affected, which are currently in the most active stage of vegetation.
As for wheat, this culture is more fortunate - it is less exposed to the risk of early completion of vegetation and death than the above crops. In addition, French farmers in many regions of the country are already conducting harvesting campaigns on wheat fields.
