The company Alfa-Agro from the Kherson region began to introduce precision farming in its sown areas.
The company's first step towards this innovation was the acquisition of an RTK station with a signal accuracy of up to 2 cm worth 12 thousand euros.
The second step of the company was new products in the field of cartography and soil analysis for nutrients, pH, etc. Thanks to this, the company can now effectively use the option for differentiated fertilizing and sowing, spraying with plant protection products.
In addition, Alfa-Agro employees are engaged in the re-equipment of the technical fleet, in particular, the Kinze 3600 BCD precision seeder (16 rows) and 12 Zimmatic sprinklers have already been purchased. The company also electrified almost all of its fields (since new sprinklers use electricity for movement).
For information, sown areas of Alfa-Agro ChSP are located in the Chaplinsky district of the Kherson region: 1657 ha, of which 1305.0 ha are irrigated.
The main activity of the company Alfa-Agro ChSP is the cultivation of high-quality seed material from the latest developments of Ukrainian breeders.
