In the near future, significant changes will be made to the legislative framework of the beekeeping and beekeeping industry in the Russian Federation. The upcoming changes were decided to seriously discuss the members of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza region.
Interested parties were gathered at a round table by the first deputy head of the Penza government, Andrei Burlakov, who also heads the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
He and his colleagues discussed important issues of beekeeping and emphasized the discussion of such important topics as: the urgent need to introduce veterinary and sanitary passports, which should be equipped with every apiary, as well as the nuances of the relationship between the regional authorities and beekeepers of the region. We did not pass over the issue related to the registration of beekeepers in the Mercury database and the importance of this registration.During the meeting, the issue of setting a date for the beekeeper’s day was also raised. Together, the assessors came to the conclusion that the best day for this holiday is August 14 (the day when Honey Spas is also celebrated).
According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the head of the Penza administration, Ivan Belozertsev, is ready to provide any assistance to beekeepers. He assured that already this year, local beekeepers will be paid generous grants to maintain honey activity. The maximum amount that potential recipients of such grants can hope for is about one and a half million rubles.
