Reporting on the process of spring planting in the country, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported on the successful implementation of work and full compliance with the established plans.
So, it is known that today spring crops have occupied almost nineteen million hectares of domestic fields. It is noteworthy that this figure is 36% of the plan planned for the spring of 2019.

For example, today more than 4.5 million hectares are sown with spring barley (60% of the crops planned this year). If we talk about spring wheat, then its indicators for 2019 are 2.5 million hectares, which is slightly more than 20% of the planned plan.Cereal corn reached 1.6 million hectares (26.8% of the planned spring work remained to be completed). And the figures for Russian rice are 103.6 thousand hectares of spring fields today, given that this is only 54% of the planned work.
