Since the beginning of 2019, employees of greenhouse complexes and farms of the Moscow Region have managed to grow more than 12 thousand tons of high-quality vegetables grown in closed ground.

It is important to note that of the total abundance of current greenhouse vegetables, 9.3 thousand tons are cucumbers. Greenhouse tomatoes accounted for 3 thousand tons. The remaining 77 tons are other vegetable crops grown under the watchful supervision of Moscow agrarians.

Finally, we can proudly say that the entire volume of greenhouse products grown in the Moscow Region in full covers the need of residents of the Moscow Region for fresh vegetables. And now, consumers in the region can safely go to retail outlets for vegetables and herbs, being confident that they can find fresh domestic products of excellent quality on the shelves throughout the year, regardless of the season.

It should also be added that today greenhouse cucumbers on trading floors in the Moscow Region sell in the price range from 70 to 150 rubles per kilogram package. The same amount of greenhouse tomatoes costs the Moscow Region consumer a minimum of 70 rubles, and a maximum of 200.

You can buy vegetables and greens grown in Moscow greenhouse complexes not only in large supermarkets, markets and grocery stores in the region, but also at farmers' fairs in Moscow and nearby cities, which will be held regularly until the first autumn frosts.
